Total Polymers has recently commercialised a new range of HDPE products called “Circular Compounds” which contain 25 or 50% recycled material.  Produced at the company’s Antwerp site, the performance of these products is equal to or exceeds that of virgin HDPE.  As a result, the performance and minimum recycle content are guaranteed by Total. The recycled material originates from household waste collected in Western Europe. Total’s initial production capacity of HDPE Circular Compounds is 20 kT  and is expected to be fully utilized during the course of 2018.  With this development, the company continues to add to its contribution to a more circular economy.
