Informing students on best study choice for a successful career

essenscia wallonie/brussels works closely with the Information Service on Studies and Jobs (SIEP) in French-speaking Belgium to inform students about the numerous career opportunities in the chemicals, plastics and life sciences sector.

Together, they produced and distributed a brochure describing jobs in the chemicals and pharma industry

essenscia wallonie also participated in the SIEP Job and Study fairs in Namur in 2017, where more more than 12,000 students came to seek careers advice from essenscia employment experts and to take part in practical workshops. They also had an opportunity to enjoy some fun experiences organised by Sciences Adventure, which works to attract young people to study STEM subjects, and to visit the Plastimobile  to find out more about the great careers offered by the plastics industry.
